Zero-Emission Truck Showcase, Ride and Drive to be Held in Oakland
The California Air Resources Board and Calstart are hosting a free Zero-Emissions Showcase + Ride & Drive event on August 14 in Oakland, California, featuring medium- and heavy-duty trucks and other zero-emission vehicles.

The California Air Resources Board and Calstart are hosting a free Zero-Emissions Showcase + Ride & Drive event on August 14 in Oakland, California, featuring ZEV medium- and heavy-duty trucks and other zero-emission vehicles.
The event will include Class 2b-8 battery-electric and fuel-cell-electric vehicles, as well as commercial vans, school and transit buses, and heavy-duty off-road equipment.
Attendees will get a chance to get behind the wheel of these ZEVs and learn about funding programs.
The event will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Oakland Arena, 7000 S. Coliseum Way in Oakland. Register online.
CARB staff will be on hand to answer questions. HDT is the media sponsor of this event. Similar events were held in other California locations in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Advanced Clean Fleets / Clean Truck Check: This presentation on the California Air Resources Board’s initiatives, Advanced Clean Fleets and Clean Truck Check, will provide information on how these programs aim to transition fleets to ZEVs and ensure heavy-duty vehicles meet emissions standards.
