The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance is offering an Industry Roadside Inspection Course – Driver Requirements to train drivers on all regulatory driver-related roadside requirements and out-of-service conditions.

The course is intended to provide necessary training to better understand roadside regulatory requirements. It will provide tools and knowledge for carriers to achieve compliance and better understand the relationship between regulations and violations that will place a truck out-of-service.

CVSA will cover regulatory definitions, intrastate vs. interstate operations, commercial driver’s license and driver qualification requirements, hazardous materials, hours-of-service, annual inspections, and the DataQ filing process.

The course takes place on Oct. 22-26 in Conley, Georgoia, just outside Atlanta and close to the Atlanta airport. The deadline for registration is Oct. 5.
