The California Air Resources Board is hosting its Diesel Truck Regulation Information Session and Conference in Los Angeles to inform fleets about current rules on diesel engines and explain how to maintain compliance.
The event takes place on Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Los Angeles Trade Tech College near downtown Los Angeles.
Discussions will include information about truck and bus regulatory requirements, funding opportunities and enforcement. Local agencies including air districts, the California Highway Patrol and equipment vendors will participate.
There will be sessions on a truck and trailer rule update, funding updates, enforcement inspection demos and vendors on display.

Hydrogen combustion engine trucks will be especially suitable over longer distances and in regions where there is limited charging infrastructure or time for recharging of battery-electric trucks, according to the company.
