Mack Trucks announced that TransWestern Truck Centres has relocated and opened a new full-service dealership in Southeast Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The new facility is designed to improve service capacity and operational efficiency for Mack customers in the region.
Expanded Space and Capabilities
Located at 5022 90th Avenue SE, the 52,000-square-foot facility sits on 5.25 acres of secured land between Stoney Trail and Deerfoot Trail, two major transportation routes. The dealership includes 20 service bays, a $2.1 million parts inventory, and employs 43 people, including 18 technicians and eight master technicians.
“Calgary is a strong market with customers that move freight across North America,” said Matt Davison, Mack senior vice president of distribution and channel development. “We outgrew our previous location and wanted to provide a more accessible facility with improved amenities and service options.”
Focus on Alternative Fuel and EV Support
The new site is a Mack Certified Electric Vehicle (EV) Dealer and is also certified to service Mack Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks. The facility is designed with the capability to expand to hydrogen fuel service in the future, supporting Mack’s investment in alternative fuel technologies.
TransWestern Truck Centres is also a Mack Certified Uptime Dealer, emphasizing streamlined service and reduced customer downtime.
Supporting Regional Trucking Operations
TransWestern Truck Centres operates in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta, providing sales, service, and parts support for heavy- and medium-duty trucks. The Calgary location has been a corporate-owned store for more than a decade.
“This new facility represents a major step forward for our customers across Southern Alberta,” said Randy Muller, general manager of TransWestern Truck Centres in Calgary. “With expanded service capacity, parts inventory, and advanced diagnostic tools, we’re well-positioned to keep Mack trucks on the road and support the evolving needs of the industry.”
