What new or improved trucking product caught your attention this year? Maybe it solves a persistent maintenance problem, makes a driver’s job easier, or helps fleets do more with less money.
Heavy Duty Trucking wants to hear about it. Nominations are now open for HDT’s 2027 Top 20 Products Awards, and the deadline is November 9, 2026.
HDT’s editors review new products throughout the year, but we don’t want to overlook a good candidate. We welcome nominations from fleet managers, suppliers, dealers, and manufacturers — including companies nominating their own products.
With help from a panel of fleet managers, HDT’s editors choose the winners based on:
- Innovation.
- Ability to address important trucking industry issues.
- Potential to improve a fleet’s bottom line.
What Qualifies?
Products must be new or significantly improved and have been introduced between November 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026. They also must be commercially available or scheduled to become available by the end of 2027.
Components, systems, and individual truck features can qualify, but complete powered vehicles are not eligible.
You can nominate more than one product from the same company. Just submit a separate form for each. Only one product per company can make the final Top 20 list.
Tell Us What Makes It Stand Out
Use the nomination form to explain what the product does, what makes it different, and how it could help a trucking fleet. Examples and documented results are helpful, along with links to product information or news coverage.
Winners will be featured in HDT’s digital and magazine coverage and receive a display trophy and the right to use the Top 20 Products logo in their promotions.
