Fontaine announced a new flatbed trailer, Impact, that it said balances strength, weight, and cost for open-deck trucking operations.
“The Impact trailer is a durable, lightweight, and cost-effective flatbed trailer engineered to meet customer demands for performance and affordability,” said Alan Briley, president of Fontaine, in a news release.
The Impact trailer features an aluminum deck and steel mainbeams with strategically spaced steel crossmembers, achieving a 52,000-pound rating in just 4 feet while minimizing weight.
Its steel rear design enhances impact resistance and torsional stability, providing durability under heavy loads and frequent loading shocks.
A full-length integrated winch track on both sides makes load securement fast and easy.
Fontaine Impact trailers are available in 48-foot and 53-foot models, both featuring wide-spread axles and air suspension.
Fontaine Impact Trailer Focused on Customers
“Everything we do is focused on the customer,” said Al Cox, senior director of sales for Fontaine, in a news release.
“The new Fontaine Impact trailer, with its exceptional strength, reduced tare weight, and cost savings, is our latest product innovation and a real game-changer for our customers.”
The Fontaine Impact joins a complete line of aluminum, steel, and composite trailers for the flatbed, dropdeck, lowbed, hydraulic tail and extendable trailer markets offered under the Fontaine Trailer and Fontaine Specialized brands.
Fontaine trailers are manufactured in Haleyville and Springville, Alabama.
