Heavy Duty Trucking has announced the winners of its 2025 Top 20 Products awards, which honor the best new and improved products our editors reported on last year.
Artificial intelligence, vehicle connectivity, and automation dominate this year's selections.
The Top 20 Awards were chosen by HDT's editors with the help of a panel of fleet representatives, based on:
Innovation
Ability to address important industry issues
Potential to improve a fleet’s bottom line
To be considered for an HDT Top 20 award, a new product must have been reported on by HDT’s editors, either online or in print, over the past year.
Products must be commercially available or scheduled to become so within the year, so “concept” products are not eligible. Entire powered vehicles are excluded. Each company may only receive one award per year.
How We Choose the Best New Trucking Products
“It’s not enough to have an innovative product,” explained HDT Editor and Associate Publisher Deborah Lockridge.
“By including fleet managers in determining the Top 20 Products award, we provide our audience a list of products that have the potential to address pain points and help them succeed in a fast-changing and competitive industry.”
Awards will be presented in individual ceremonies at winners’ booths during the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting and exposition in Nashville in March.
The following Top 20 products are listed in alphabetical order by company name. Details on each one appear in the Jan/Feb 2024 print issue and will be posted on our website soon.
