The Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau will hold a "Spot The Retreads" competition at the Mid-America Trucking Show from March 27-29 in Louisville, Ky.
Visitors to TRIB's booth (#13036) can enter the "Spot The Retreads" contest and try to correctly identify a range of new and retreaded tires. Participants who correctly identify all the tires will be entered into daily drawings for sets of eight commercial truck tires to be retreaded on the participants own casings. With seven sets of retreaded tires to be won, the total value of the tires to be given away during the show is over $10,000.
"We feel we've come up with a great way to demonstrate the quality of the retreaded tires as well as provide very valuable prizes to attendees of the show," says TRIB Managing Director David Stevens.
The following TRIB Members are providing retreading services for the seven winners at the show and many of them will be displaying their retreaded tires in TRIB's booth: AcuTread Alliance Group, Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions, Continental Tire the Americas, Goodyear Retreads, Marangoni Tread North America, Michelin Retread Technologies, and Oliver Rubber Company.
