The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association is asking its members to “take the pledge” referring to the Trucking Moves America Forward campaign to promote positive values in trucking.

The pledge encourages commitment to a list of values that can be incorporated into a driver’s professional and personal code and is meant to be shared with others.

“We hope this pledge provides a meaningful message that members will share with others and encourage support for the Trucking Moves America campaign,” said Norita Taylor, spokesperson for the OOIDA. “The pledge is something that not only truck drivers can relate to, but also other types of workers in the trucking industry.”
