The Future of Trucking Telematics
Platform Science Adds Dispatch and Safety Tools
Four additions to PS Fleet help fleets monitor loads, manage driver coaching, share truck locations and adjust video system settings.

Drivers can use PS Coach to review safety event videos and coaching on an in-cab tablet. The system supports both self-guided reviews and coaching led by a safety manager.
Platform Science
Platform Science is adding four tools to its PS Fleet app suite to help dispatchers track loads, safety managers organize driver coaching, and customers see when a truck is approaching.
The additions also give fleet administrators control over video safety settings that previously required a request to Platform Science.
“Every one of these products started with a conversation with a customer about where their back office was losing time,” said Darrin Demchuk, senior vice president of product at Platform Science.
“Dispatchers were fielding ‘where’s my truck?’ calls, safety managers were coaching thousands of drivers with spreadsheets, and admins were waiting on us to change a camera setting.”

PS Truck Tracker lets fleets share a vehicle’s live location through a link that expires automatically. Customers and receiving docks can view it without an account or app.
Dispatch Science
A Dashboard for Dispatchers
PS Command Center brings dispatch information into a single dashboard within PS Fleet Manager and integrates with a fleet’s existing dispatch software.
Dispatchers can see which loads are late, at risk, on time or pending, along with dispatch progress and drivers’ available hours of service. The dashboard also flags vehicles moving without a dispatch.
Users can review arrivals by location and dig into differences between planned and actual arrival times, as well as geofence status.
Tools to Manage Driver Coaching
PS Coach, part of PS Visual Intelligence, helps safety managers track behaviors that need coaching and document follow-up with drivers.
A coaching inbox for each driver shows behaviors that have not been addressed. Safety managers can send self-guided coaching to a driver’s device or document coaching delivered through a guided session, phone call, text or in-person conversation.
Drivers can review and acknowledge coaching through the PS Driver App or an in-cab tablet. The system keeps timestamped acknowledgment records, while a dashboard across drivers flags overdue coaching.
Coaching histories can be exported for DOT audits or litigation support.
Share a Truck’s Location With Customers
PS Truck Tracker lets authorized dispatchers create a secure link showing a single vehicle’s live location on a map. The recipient does not need an account, login or app, and the link expires automatically.
Customers and receiving docks can use the information to prepare for an arrival without seeing the fleet’s other vehicles or broader route network. Fleet administrators determine who can create the links.

Dispatchers can use PS Command Center to identify late or at-risk loads and review individual stops to see where delays are occurring.
Platform Science
Adjust Video Settings From the Office
Vehicle Settings for PS Visual Intelligence lets fleet administrators change safety event detection and driver privacy settings without asking Platform Science to make the changes.
Administrators can adjust detection sensitivity for harsh braking, following distance, fatigue, and phone use. They also can configure privacy controls, including camera behavior while parked and settings for a physical in-cab privacy button.
Changes are saved as drafts, reviewed together, and then sent to vehicles in one action. Separate permissions control who can view settings and who can edit them.
Availability
PS Command Center and PS Truck Tracker are available now to PS Fleet customers.
PS Coach and Vehicle Settings for PS Visual Intelligence are rolling out to select fleets in a controlled release ahead of broader availability.
