Daimler Trucks North America, Mack Trucks and Volvo Group North America are pushing the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit to force the Environmental Protection Agency to revoke “certificates of conformity” granted to Navistar International for some of its engines that didn’t meet federal emissions standards.
Judges in the case seemed skeptical of the arguments in this latest attempt following a ruling in 2012 in this case that goes back several years.
