The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration National Training Center has announced two webinars about the new electronic logging device mandate to help fleets comply with the rules.

The first webinar, FMCSA ELD Rule and Implementation Plan, will discuss topics such as the rule’s major components, implementation phases, ELD technical specifications, harassment provisions and record retention and general requirements of supporting documents defined by the ELD Rule. This webinar is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2016, at 11 a.m. PST.
The second webinar is called ELD Phase 1: Transition and Awareness, and will provide attendees with information about the first phase of the ELD Rule Implementation Plan. The presentation will provide guidance on how the ELD rule will be enforced during the initial "Awareness and Transition" phase at the roadside and during investigations. This webinar is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. PST.
