From the HDT archives: The window for making the switch from AOBRD to ELD slams shut on December 16, 2019, the last day you’ll be able to take advantage of the grandfather clause that lets carriers using automatic onboard recording devices hold off on switching to fully compliant electronic logging devices for two years.
