Transcore Offers Invoice Collection Help for DAT Partners
Transcore is offering an invoice collection service for customers of DAT Partners, one of Transcore's load-finding products

According to the announcement, DAT Assurance guarantees payment for loads moved through its premium DAT Partners service and is free of charge to DAT Partner customers.
“By offering this debt collection support, TransCore becomes the only freight-matching provider to alleviate the issue of non-payment for loads found on load boards, strengthening the market's confidence in a pre-screened, qualified broker network,” the press release said.
TransCore said it has established DAT Assurance to support brokers by certifying creditworthiness and guaranteeing carriers will get paid. The company noted that 72% of small to mid-size carriers do not attempt to collect bad debt, and some carriers are reluctant to use load-matching due to the risk of non-payment by unknown freight providers.
Carriers with an active DAT Partners subscription are eligible to participate free of charge. A carrier need only register the load with DAT Assurance and provide proof-of-delivery documentation if payment is not received. TransCore will work with the carrier to recover the debt for 120 days. If it is collected, the carrier receives 70 percent of the invoice. If debt collection is unsuccessful, the carrier receives a $300 credit on their DAT Partners subscription.
Additional features available with this latest version of DAT Partners include a broker's days-to-pay score and a tenfold increase in the number of search results.
