Pilot Adds 10th Golden State Location

Pilot Travel Centers LLC has purchased the former Giant travel center in Castaic, Calif., 30 miles north of Los Angeles.

Located at the I-5 Lake Hughes exit, the travel center features 125 parking spaces, eight fuel lanes each for diesel fuel and gasoline, pay-at-the-pump/Smart Fuel, Transflo Express documentation for professional drivers and seven showers.
The center also includes a Popeye’s Chicken restaurant and will offer CAT scales by January 2005.
Robert Wooten is the travel center¹s general manager; Tom Kelly is the regional manager.
