Longs Drug Contracts with Penske

Longs Drug Stores Corp., Walnut Creek, Calif., has contracted with Penske Logistics

to provide dedicated contract transportation services from Long's company run warehouses to 393 stores in California, Washington, Nevada, Colorado and Oregon. The company also has 28 stores in Hawaii.
Penske Logistics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing, Reading, Pa. -- a joint venture of Penske Corp. and GE Capital.
