Clicklogistics Adds Features Prior to Wide Launch

Clicklogistics Inc., Billerica, Mass., a new web-based logistics service, is set to debut later this month.

According to the company, Clicklogistics is currently working with a few customers and new features are being added, among them XML (eXtensible Markup Language) data communication and web-form load tendering.
Web-form load tendering allows a shipper to create a web page on the Internet or their own extranet to capture shipping information from retail or vendor locations, and feed that order information to Clicklogistics in XML to automatically create a transportation order.
Other features include automated bill of lading creation in Adobe PDF format, label creation and automated carrier-specific PRO number creation.
