Aperia Technologies' Halo Connect tire management platform has a new feature, Nearby Issues, which uses a technician’s real-time location to instantly display trucks nearby with tire problems.
Whether at the yard or out on the road, with Nearby Issues, heavy-duty truck technicians can quickly pinpoint the exact vehicles and tires needing attention, walk directly to the right truck, and resolve issues on the spot.
While technicians already have access to tire issue information through Halo Connect, Nearby Issues takes convenience and efficiency a step further by turning insight into immediate, location-based action.
Nearby Issues is available now in the Halo Tech App.
“Technicians don’t need more alerts; they need the right insights at the right time,” said Ralph Dimenna, CCO at Aperia Technologies, in a release.
“Nearby Issues gives them a faster, smarter way to prioritize and resolve tire problems based on where they are, closing the gap between knowing an issue exists and getting it fixed.”
With Nearby Issues, technicians can:
See what’s nearby: Instantly view all vehicles nearby that have tire issues.
Prioritize: Access a ranked list of trucks based on issue severity and count, enabling faster, smarter decision-making.
Access live tire data: Connect over Bluetooth to view real-time tire pressures and confirm that repairs are completed.
Gain transparency: Dive into detailed issue data, review tire health history, and see the vehicle’s exact location.
Navigate with ease: Use an interactive map with GPS positioning and severity based color coding.
Stay secure: Rely on controlled access available only to authenticated users physically near the vehicle.
Aperia Technologies’ Halo Tire Management platform is designed to improve fuel economy and road safety while reducing tire expenditures, downtime, and maintenance costs for commercial fleets. Its line-up of tire management solutions includes Halo Tire Inflator, Halo Connect, and Halo Connect i3.
