“Smart trailers aren’t going to get a smaller share of the market,” Davis explained. “They're going to get a bigger share. So, as more devices come out, as more standardization becomes required, this device is going to be more and more useful.”
Smartphone Compatible Interface
Davis said the Stryker 1000 can read proprietary data from trailer suppliers. This information includes electric, air and EV systems. Moreover, the device is compatible with Android and IOS. That means it allows that information to be displayed on a technician’s smartphone or tablet.
Other Stryker 1000 features include:
Tablet touch screen delivers flexibility to meet customers’ needs, delivering instant information and saving the data
CAN bus connector accesses trailer ABS to display fault codes and other smart trailer data
Tablet screen displays both the smart trailer information and trailer operating system, allowing the tech to diagnose issues in real time
Beginning and ending screen data along with the repair is downloaded into the Sentry file, creating a DOT inspection and history of the issues
Tracks issues and repairs for the trailer with Sentry software.
