The company is a provider of specialty financing, fleet data analytics, fleet management services, and life cycle cost management. Its Trailer Lease Program enables flexible trailer lease solutions that provide a lower total cost of ownership, according to Fleet Advantage.
Fleet Advantage has leased one out of every 42 tractors in the last 10 years in the United States, with roughly 30,000 assets under management, according to the company. It leverages its expertise in advanced data technology and flexible finance programs to provide a lower TCO when adopting flexible lease terms to trailers.
The company now offers Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause (TRAC) financing for trailers in addition to other leasing options, providing fleet customers with more flexible and advantageous leasing arrangements.
This approach also extends to flexible lease structures for customer-preferred original equipment specifications, ensuring that each trailer is optimized for its intended use.
Fleet Advantage said it has working relationships with leading trailer manufacturers and trailer types, lift gate providers, and differential ramp system suppliers so it can offer comprehensive solutions that cover all aspects of trailer customization and outfitting.
“By combining financial flexibility with strategic asset management, we’re empowering our customers to make smarter long-term investments in their fleet, ultimately driving profitability and sustainability in an ever-evolving market,” said Brian Holland, Fleet Advantage president and CEO.
Introductory Graphics Program
Fleet Advantage’s expanded trailer program also includes a new offering to enhance trailer wrap offerings.
As part of this innovative program, the company provides fleet clients with the option to refresh their trailer graphics, ensuring that their mobile advertising remains current and impactful throughout the lease term.
The cost for this graphic refresh will be set according to competitive national account target pricing, with a thorough review conducted prior to execution.
“These additional services align with our commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions that maximize the value of our customers' fleets,” added Holland.
“This collaboration with industry leaders underscores our dedication to providing a full suite of industry solutions alongside our flexible financing for heavy-duty trucks and trailers, enabling our clients to maintain a strong, professional brand presence on the road.”
Fleet Advantage Trailer Maintenance Solution
Heavy-duty fleets also need a reliable, national maintenance and repair program for their trailers. According to ATRI’s Analysis of the Operational Costs of Trucking: 2024 Update, most trailer types had higher average ages in 2023 than in 2022.
Furthermore, the average trailer trade cycle, as with the average trailer age, increased from 14.2 years in 2022 to 15.3 years in 2023.
Fleet Advantage’s dedicated trailer program also makes available a reliable, national trailer maintenace and repair option – the Fleet Advantage Maintenance Solution serviced by FleetNet America/Cox Automotive and its network of 65,000 service providers, including 24/7/365 customer service and roadside assistance.
