BYD Motors and Cox Automotive announced the two companies have entered into a service agreement that covers BYD customers and its growing fleets of class 6 and class 8 trucks within the United States with 24/7 roadside support and a nationwide network of EV-trained service technicians.

To accelerate the adoption of EV trucks throughout the United States, it is crucial to establish a network of roadside support for heavy-duty trucks. This partnership is the foundation for a larger-scale nationwide deployment. Focusing on Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta, BYD Motors and Cox Automotive are hoping to make the transition to battery-electric heavy-duty trucks more easily accessible.
