Daimler Trucks North America Sold Out for 2019

In a seeming repeat of last year's performance, Daimler Trucks North America said it is effectively sold out for the remainder of the 2019 model year. The company sold a record 175,950 units in 2018. Freightliner Says New Cascadia Has First Level 2 Automation in North America

Daimler Trucks North America announced at CES in Las Vegas that it’s now offering what it says is the first Level 2 automated truck in series production in North America with the latest enhancements to the Freightliner new Cascadia. Level 2 automation means the truck is capable of both lateral (steering) and longitudinal (acceleration/deceleration) control.
