The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect all aspects of the industry, and while one conference is going virtual, another has decided to move forward with an in-person meeting. The 2020 FTR Transportation Conference was recently cancelled, but The Machinery Haulers Association (TMHA) will hold its Safety & Security meeting near the end of this summer.

FTR will instead offer FTR Engage, a virtual speaking series featuring industry leaders and FTR experts. www.FTRintel.com/Engage. Planning for next year’ event has already begun and has been scheduled for September 14-16, 2021, in Indianapolis.

Unlike many industry associations, TMHA has decided to move forward with its Safety & Security meeting, which has been scheduled for August 5-7 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

“We are very concerned regarding [COVID-19], of course, and are monitoring carefully,” said Clayton Fisk, TMHA president and chief operating officer. “We will be certain that we are in full compliance with the regulations, requirements, and guidelines of the CDC, as well as the applicable state and local authorities, that are in effect at that time.”
