American Trucking Associations and the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences announced a new online compliance resource that provides information on environmental regulations affecting fleets.
The website, known as the Transportation Environmental Resource Center (TERC), includes overviews of regulations, compliance tips, best practices, and links to other useful resources that can assist fleets in securing answers to their environmental compliance questions both at the state and federal levels.
While the site currently only addresses the trucking sector, the site will be expanded in 2012 to cover other transportation modes such as air, water, and rail. Funding for the site is provided through grants from EPA.
