USFreightways introduced the first two components in its newly designed portfolio of less-than-truckload service offerings.

USF Premier is the new name for next-day and regional service offered by each of the five carriers comprising the USFreightways Regional Carrier Group, with comprehensive regional and metro coverage, extensive next-day and second-day transit standards, and regional consolidation and distribution capabilities.
USF PremierPlus is premium, standard speed inter-regional and national LTL transportation service offered by the USFreightways Regional Carrier Group. USF PremierPlus links the United States' most comprehensive network of regional carriers with seamlessly integrated operations and exclusive use of premium sleeper team service. It features published stringent transit standards for all lanes, direct delivery on USFreightways equipment by USFreightways employees, door-to-door tracking/tracing capabilities and electronic viewing and retrieval of shipment documents.

Supporting both USF Premier and USF PremierPlus is an enhanced version of USF Net (a secure customer service Web site), offering immediate access to shipment status updates, rate quote estimates, facility guide, shipment manifests and online viewing of shipment documents.
