Many truckers traveling through South Dakota are pulled over waiting for a winter storm to abate.

The National Weather Service posted a winter storm warning for much of eastern and south central South Dakota through Tuesday. A high wind warning was in effect for the western third of the state.
"You can't see marker lines, you don't know where the road is," trucker Perry Blaoun told the Associated Press, his rig parked overnight in Sioux Falls last night. "It's not a good idea to be out there."
The heaviest snow fell near Huron and Mitchell, and up to 12 inches was expected across most of the state.
In many areas, the snow covered a coating of sleet and ice from the weekend's storms.
