Stineman has spent the last 24 years of his career at Truck-Lite, beginning as an engineer in 1998 and serving in various sales management roles. Most recently he served as senior vice president of sales at Truck-Lite's parent company Clarience Technologies since 2021.
Stineman will be taking on the top leadership job at Truck-Lite as the company continues to transform itself and adapt to the changing commercial transportation industry,
Demand for new innovations has never been greater as electric, autonomous, and connected vehicle technologies reshape commercial transportation, Truck-Lite officials said in a press release.
In July 2022, Truck-Lite moved its corporate headquarters from its long-time home in Falconer, New York, to its new offices at Knowledge Park at Penn State Behrend in Erie, Pennslyvania. The Penn State Behrend location helps Truck-Lite better align its research and development capabilities with the evolving technology requirements being set by vehicle manufacturers.
Truck-Lite believes the future research and development capabilities needed to design components in next-generation electric vehicles will require its workforce to have deeper electrical engineering, software programming and advanced analytics expertise. By relocating its headquarters to Knowledge Park, Truck-Lite leaders can seek outside perspective from university subject matter experts and stay in front of new technology advancements—all while the company strengthens its position as an employer of choice for graduating students.
“There has never been a more exciting time to be in the transportation industry,” said Stineman. “As customers seek partners to help them think differently, now is our time to put our experience to work and create innovations for the next 100 years—it’s our time to shine.”
