TravelCenters of America completed the installation of bulk diesel exhaust fluid dispensers at 62 of its TA and Petro Stopping Center locations.
Included in this number are four sites that have bulk DEF pumping capabilities in their truck service maintenance and repair facilities.
The on-island installations include a new dispensing technology and transaction system to provide drivers with a quicker fueling process. Called the "1+1," the new dispensers handle both diesel fuel and DEF. Drivers can simultaneously authorize diesel fuel and DEF transactions at the same dispenser, simultaneously dispense the two products and pay for both fills at once.
TravelCenters expects to have on-island bulk DEF dispensers at substantially all of its locations before the end of this year. A complete list of sites is available on the company's web site at tatravelcenters.com/diesel-exhaust-fluid.
