Strick Trailers has added InfoScan QR codes to all new trailer vin tags in order to help speed service times for customers.
Each trailer will come with a unique QR code with InfoScan technology printed on the VIN tag, which is installed on the trailer’s front panel, allowing operators to quickly be connected to Strick’s website and to retrieve specific trailer information.
The VIN tag was specifically designed to be easy to read and to withstand the elements to ensure the longevity of the code.
“Uptime is a critical component for the success of our customers operation,” said Justin Bell, director of engineering, Strick Trailers. “InfoScan technology reduces the amount of time operators need to wait while basic vehicle data is obtained; our goal is to maximize operating time on the road and reduce time on the phone or in a service bay.”
