Patrick Gunn is the new director of intermodal sales. “The director of intermodal sales is a new position for Stoughton Trailers,” Marketing Manager Ron Jake explained in response to an HDT email. “By adding a focused and experienced chassis expert to our team (Pat Gunn), we are strengthening our commitment to the intermodal industry.”

Gunn will lead and manage the intermodal sales effort. He has extensive experience in the intermodal market, the company noted, coming to Stoughton from CIMC Intermodal, CIMC Commercial Tire, and Bridgestone.
“Patrick’s 38 years of leadership and management experience in the industry will be valuable as Stoughton’s director of intermodal Sales,” said Randy Flanagan, vice president of sales and marketing.
Stoughton Trailers manufactures its intermodal chassis in the U.S. at its Evansville, Wisconsin, facility. Its standard container chassis handles 53-foot high-cube containers, but it will build chassis to custom specifications, and its product line can transport containers in lengths of 20, 40, 45, 48 and 53 feet.

Buckley has 28 years in the trailer industry, having begun his career in 1992 at Wabash National. He also headed up the sales team at Kentucky Trailer.
“Scott’s ability to achieve results is an asset as we continue to focus on growing our fleet customers,” said Flanagan. “His strong business acumen and expertise ensures that we remain customer focused.”
