The new Pro-Link+ from Snap-on combines hardware and software for a complete code-based diagnostic and repair platform for all makes of trucks.

It provides a direct path from pulling a fault code via the vehicle communication interface to diagnosing and fixing the problem.

Pro-Link+ delivers diagnostic coverage for Class 1 through Class 8 trucks along with code-specific repair guidance in a rugged handheld device.

Code descriptions with step-by-step troubleshooting routines, testing procedures, component and connector photos, fault-specific wiring diagrams, specifications, and remove and install instructions are instantly available. 

Vehicles are back on the road without unnecessary delays searching for repair information, because it’s all right at the technician’s fingertips without ever leaving the vehicle. 

Code descriptions with step-by-step troubleshooting routines, testing procedures, component and connector photos, fault-specific wiring diagrams, specifications and remove and install instructions are instantly available.

ProLink+ Communicates With Your Trucks for Faster Repair

The vehicle communication interface has been validated by all major original equipment manufacturers. It creates a reliable wireless or wired connection and supports the latest protocols, including CAN FD and DoIP. Both a 9-pin and a 16-pin adapter are included.

At each connection, Pro-Link+ quickly identifies all fitted systems on the vehicle, displays active and inactive fault codes, and automatically saves a vehicle health report.

The ruggedized Pro-Link+ hardware has been designed specifically for commercial vehicle service environments. It features a large 12-inch touchscreen, 9-hour battery life and integrated camera with light. 

There is a USB-C port for charging and connection to a monitor or external devices and two USB 3.0 ports for peripherals. An internal microphone and stereo speakers are built in. 

The power-saving mode with 5-second startup makes getting to work fast.

The open Windows system allows user-installed software, access to web browsers, and application multi-tasking.

Pro-Link+ users have the ability to adjust over 600 user-configurable parameters like cruise control, engine idle shutdown and service intervals.

Additional and advanced features include:

  • OEM-level software for all makes of trucks, engines, transmissions and brakes is all-inclusive.

  • Live data graphing, component failure testing and replacement component programming.

  • The ability to adjust over 600 user-configurable parameters like cruise control, engine idle shutdown and service intervals.

  • Over 200 OEM special tests – including DPF regens, cylinder cutouts and fuel system leakage tests.

“The Pro-Link+ is a complete diagnostic system designed to address this need. The proprietary hardware and software combine OEM-level diagnostic capabilities — hundreds of special tests and calibrations — with code-based repair information, including wiring diagrams and photos of component locations to make Pro-Link+ the essential diagnostic companion.”
