The Truck Renting and Leasing Association named Danny Daniels of Ryder Dedicated division its Driver of the Year award recipient. The honor was given at TRALA’s Annual Meeting awards dinner.
Daniels has logged more than 2.75 million collision- and injury-free miles over the past 31 years for which he was given the award. At Ryder he drove for 2 million miles being named driver of the month three times. He has also received a number certifications of achievement for his completion of Ryder safety programs.

TRALA chooses nominees for its Driver of the Year award from member leasing companies. The association looks for top drivers who operate their vehicles in a safe and responsible manner and whose contributions have enhanced the overall safety of trucking.
“Danny epitomizes hard work, dedication, and what it means to be a safe driver,” said John Diez, president of Ryder Dedicated. “He is a shining example of all the outstanding Ryder drivers who are committed to safety and customer service.”
