Roehl Transport will expand its investment in fuel-saving TrailerTail aerodynamics technology by installing 500 TrailerTails on all new trailers purchased from Wabash National in 2013.
Roehl began testing TrailerTail in 2012 with an initial deployment of 100 TrailerTails. The additional TrailerTails started making their appearance this month.
The deployment of 500 additional TrailerTails by Roehl will offset the fuel consumption and carbon emissions equivalent to taking approximately 500 passenger vehicles off the road.
