Prime Inc. has named the recipients of its Contractor of the Year 2000 Awards. Chosen for their on-time performance, profitability and safety records, the winners received a $1,000 cash prize and will represent Prime throughout 2000 at truck shows and other promotional events.

Bob and Sheila Conger were named 2000 Contractors of the Year for the company's Refrigerated Div. A professional driver for more than 32 years, Bob was joined on the road by his wife eight years ago, and the couple has driven team ever since. The Congers reside in Berkshire, VT.
Bill Girdler, who has been with Prime since 1992, was selected as the Year 2000 contractor for Prime's Flatbed Division. The Pamona, MO, resident has also earned several Prime Time Certified Awards for continuous on-time performance and has been recognized for six
consecutive years without a service failure.
