Customers who purchase a new Peterbilt truck and finance through Paccar Financial will receive updated warranty coverage going forward, the company announced.

The warranty offer, which is available until March 31, 2016, is good on trucks in dealer inventory or truck orders received by Peterbilt prior to Dec. 31.

Paccar Financial is offering separate warranties for Class 5-7 vehicles and Class 8 trucks.

The Class 5-7 warranty provides basic coverage for two years or 150,000 miles (240,000 kilometers). The warranty replaces the existing basic warranty covering one year and unlimited miles.

The Class 8 warranty provides basic coverage for three years or 300,000 miles. This warranty replaces the existing basic warranty covering one year or 100,000 miles.

The new warranties are valued at approximately $660 for medium-duty trucks and approximately $2,915 for heavy-duty trucks.
