The company reported net income of $10.07 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2001, versus net income of $8.66 million for the year before.
Revenues were $225.79 million in 2001 compared to 2000 revenues of $205.25 million. The company reported fourth quarter 2001 net income of $2.55 million compared to fourth quarter 2000 net income of $2.37 million. Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2001 were $56.26 million, compared to $50.96 million in the same quarter of 2000.
Operating income of $21.27 million for the year reflected a 9.6% increase over prior year operating income of $19.4 million. Fourth quarter 2001 operating income was $5.29 million compared to $5.09 million for the fourth quarter of 2000.
P.A.M. Transportation Services is an irregular route, common and contract motor carrier transporting general commodities throughout the continental United States and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
