Overnite Transportation, Richmond, Va., is expanding its services into Mexico with expedited cross-border transit.
The LTL carrier will offer its "Advantage Mexico" express service on Mexican shipments, eliminating border delays that can take up to 10 days, and provide same-day border crossing for manufacturing and assembly shipments, by processing cross-border freight on site.
Overnite will expedite Mexican shipments from five gateway service centers located in El Paso, Harlingen and Laredo, Texas; and Los Angeles and San Diego, Calif., and will operate at 14 locations in Mexico. The company’s agency operations are in Tijuana, Nogales, Hermosillo, Ciudad Obregon, Los Mochis, Culiacan, Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, Mexicali, Merida, Chihuahua and Juarez, Mexico.
