Omnitracs announced an integration with McLeod Software’s LoadMaster transportation management system to enhance the interoperability of the Omnitracs One platform. Omnitracs One was announced in 2018 as a hardware-agnostics software system designed to capitalize on an industry trend toward greater integration of products.
Omnitracs explained that many transportation companies are heavily invested in their chosen transportation management solution but are still seeking new functionality. The Omnitracs One platform was designed to meet these demands, with a flexible, open API ecosystem.
“In today’s data-driven world, integration is everything,” said Paul Nagy, chief product officer of Omnitracs.
With this integration, McLeod LoadMaster customers can immediately access the benefits of the Omnitracs One platform. This includes products such as the recently introduced Omnitracs Drive, which helps drivers enhance their overall productivity and trip management.
The integration allows new opportunities to improve driver workflow and create more actionable, business-relevant data, according to Omnitracs. It also provides hardening to existing XRS integrations with McLeod LoadMaster for hours of service and driver workflow functionality.
