Old Dominion Freight Line, a less-than-truckload carrier, has opened a new warehouse facility in Thomasville, N.C., which will serve as the headquarters for the OD-Warehousing and Distribution Services Division
. The 160,000 square-foot facility is located at 100 Don Truell Lane.
"This new facility will enable our clients to better serve the Southeast, Northeast and Midwest markets of the United States," said Rick Keeler, senior vice president of pricing and strategic development.
OD-Warehousing and Distribution Services Division was started just over a year ago and has steadily grown. The facility will include an established Free Trade Zone, providing a multitude of business opportunities to Old Dominion clients. It will also offer a full range of distribution services.
"This new Thomasville warehouse further supports the company's commitment to our overall warehousing initiative," said Chris Reynolds, director of warehousing and distribution services. "Like our other facilities, the Thomasville location is a state-of-the-art warehousing complex offering a complete range of distribution services."
