San-Francisco-based Norcal Waste Systems, the nation's seventh largest waste hauling company, is taking delivery of several 2003 Autocar Xpeditor trucks.
"We've been buying the Xpeditors for 25 years," notes Benny Anselmo, vice president of equipment & maintenance for Norcal. "Since Autocar has continued the Xpeditor tradition it gives us the opportunity to continue buying a product that has serviced us and the waste industry so well. The Xpeditor gives us a durable vehicle that is simple to operate and that keeps up with the technology needed. This not only maximizes our route productivity, it gives us the standardization that I need to operate our fleet. We also receive great support from our dealer - Oakland Truck Center."
Autocar LLC was formed in July 2001, when parent company Grand Vehicle Works Holdings, LLC purchased the Autocar name and the Xpeditor truck line from Volvo Trucks North America.
