The National Biodiesel Board has launched its own YouTube Channel, offering comprehensive biodiesel videos and news on the web site.
People searching for biodiesel information can now find credible, helpful and entertaining videos on the site.
According to Jenna Higgins, NBB director of communications, sites like YouTube drive public awareness, public opinion and mainstream media coverage. "We want to have a voice in this forum and ensure that an opportunity to learn about the benefits of biodiesel is reaching the people who seek it," she said.
The NBB unveiled the channel at the National Biodiesel Conference and Expo in San Francisco. Videos from the conference that have been posted include a San Francisco Road Trip, highlighting the many biodiesel users in the host city, and videos featuring industry leaders talking about sustainability and other key issues.
Biodiesel fans can become subscribers to the channel. YouTube will notify subscribers whenever new videos are posted, and they can also comment on them and share them with friends.
