Medical Services Added To Bordentown Petro
TravelCenters of America has opened a medical clinic at the Petro Stopping Center, located off I-295, Exit 57, in Bordentown, N.J. This is the first medical clinic offering in the state for the chain and its 18th location nationwide offering medical services.
The clinic is operated by Infinity Medical Services, which provides mobile DOT medical services in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. It’s staffed by board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners and offers DOT medical exams and a range of medical services for professional drivers, including illness and injury treatment, wellness exams, screenings, laboratory services, and vaccinations. The clinic also has an on-site pharmacy.
"FMCSA rules in effect beginning May 2014 require professional driver medical fitness exams be conducted by certified medical examiners with an FMCSA National Registry," said Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters
Infinity Medical also has U.S. DOT FMCSA-certified technicians on site, available to collect samples for employment related screenings, using DOT-approved equipment. Medical Review Officer services are also available, and all screenings are sent out to certified laboratories.
