Paving on the southbound lanes began Sunday, June 3, and will take approximately one week to complete, weather permitting. MSHA expects all work to be complete by mid-June, weather permitting. Crews will work during nighttime hours only between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Multiple lane closures will not occur until 10 p.m.
The MD 295 resurfacing is part of a $5.8 million multi-project "areawide" resurfacing contract awarded to Gray & Sons of Timonium. Portions of I-70, I-83, I-95, I-195, I-695 and I-795 may also be resurfaced under this contract.
