Maverick Transportation has announced its fourth driver pay raise this year, this time targeting its flatbed divisions.

The company has also added a weekly minimum pay guarantee that will apply to all flatbed, glass, and temperature control over-the-road divisions.
“Our drivers are the backbone of our company and we are proud to offer them this industry leading pay package,” said John Culp, president of Maverick Transportation.
The pay increase goes into effect on Aug. 19, and will add 5 cents per mile for regional flatbed drivers and 3 cents per mile for over-the-road flatbed drivers.
This brings Maverick's starting pay range to 54-58 cents per mile, while student starting pay has been increased to 52 cents per mile. Maverick has also instituted a weekly minimum pay of $1,000 per week, which is also going into effect on Aug. 19.
