Landi Renzo USA plans to produce a dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) version of Ford's 2016 F-650 truck that will appear at NTEA's The Work Truck Show in early March.
Ford's updated of its F-650 and F-750 will include a model with a version of its 6.8L V-10 gasoline engine that's prepped for conversion to CNG or propane autogas. Following Ford's unveiling of the new trucks at the 2014 Work Truck Show, vehicle modifiers such as Westport Innovations and ROUSH CleanTech quickly announced plans to offer alternative fuel models. Westport plans to offer a dedicated CNG model, while ROUSH CleanTech has yet to announce plans for a propane autogas version.
Landi Renzo now offers a bi-fuel or dedicated CNG F-450 or F-550 truck. The bi-fuel F-550 and dedicated CNG 2016 F-650 will be shown at Ford's booth at the Work Truck Show, which starts March 4.
