J.B. Hunt Transport announced a company-wide initiative to hire 10,000 U.S. veterans by the year 2020. The company was recently recognized for the ninth straight year as a Top 100 Military Friendly Employer by G.I. Jobs, ranking as the third most military friendly employer in the transportation industry.

“Our nation's veterans excel at J.B. Hunt, where their strong leadership skills, experience and moral integrity contribute to our company’s continued success,” said John Roberts, president and CEO of J.B. Hunt.

J.B. Hunt offers extended benefits for employees called to active duty and works with transition offices and veteran affairs groups to recruit and employ former military members. In the last year, the employers on the Top Military Friendly Employers list have hired more than 155,000 service members and their spouses.
