Nov. 11 – The Idaho Transportation Department has unveiled a statewide winter road reporting service. The new hotline replaces the previous six-number system.
Now you can call 1-888-IDA-ROAD. You’ll be given four menu options, including northern Idaho, eastern Idaho, southwestern Idaho, and interstates and U.S. 95. Conditions will be updated four times daily, including weekends and holidays.
You can also access road conditions through the department’s newly revamped web site at http://www2.state.id.us/itd/ida-road/index.html.
