High Road Acquisition Corp. said on Friday it launched its friendly $33-million tender offer for KLLM Transport Services Inc., which has agreed to be acquired by the group for $8.05 a share.
Formed by KLLM chief executive Jack Liles and WorldCom chief executive Bernard Ebbers, High Road's offer will expire June 29. They withdrew a bid of $8.25 a share on May 22.
