Heavy Duty Trucking is taking applications from fleet managers of heavy-duty trucks to attend its Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange networking and educational event, Sept. 4-6 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Founded in 2017, Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange is designed to connect a diverse and influential group of fleet managers of Class 7 and 8 vehicles, at no charge, with a select group of product and service suppliers to exchange information, ideas and solutions.

Fewer than 50 fleet managers are approved to attend HDTX each year, in order to keep the intimate networking nature of the event.

Innovation and Education at HDTX

A highlight of HDTX is the presentation of HDT’s Truck Fleet Innovator awards and a panel discussion with the honorees. These wide-ranging discussions have covered topics such as maintenance, safety, driver recruiting and retention, fleet sustainability, autonomous trucks, leveraging fleet data, and more.

Additional educational sessions in the past have covered topics such as fleet electrification, efficiency, government regulations, trucking technology, safety and compliance, economic trends affecting trucking, and more.

Networking, however, is the primary focus of HDTX. Fleet attendees get a customized schedule of short one-on-one meetings with suppliers (it’s been compared to “speed dating”) where they can outline challenges in their operations and see if suppliers may be able to help. Meals and social functions allow attendees to exchange ideas with other fleet managers.

Apply for HDTX 2024

Fleet managers who oversee commercial fleets that consist predominantly of Class 7 and 8 heavy-duty trucks are encouraged to apply to be considered for selection to attend Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange as a guest at www.heavydutytruckingexchange.com.

The trip includes economy coach airfare to Scottsdale, a two-night hotel stay, ground transfers from the airport to the resort (on program dates only), and all scheduled meals.
