Heartland Express has opened its new regional terminal just west of Atlanta.
With access from Interstates 20 and 285, the 20-acre facility will handle Heartland's southeast regional operations. The site features a large shop with two truck maintenance bays; two trailer bays; on inspection bay; and a large lot for trailer drop-off, pick-up and parking.
For drivers, the building will have 24-hour access to new shower and restroom facilities, a driver's lounge, separate telephone room, and a laundry area.
The new location is an upgrade over Heartland's previous facility, located just south of Atlanta in Forest Park, GA.
